Metallics ruled the red carpet at the 2024 Grammys, almost from the very first moment.

The Grammy Awards may be the hottest night for celebrating music, but the outfits donned on the red carpet by the industry’s most illustrious artists are just as award-worthy – and the 2024 ceremony certainly did not disappoint.
The event – which this year saw the 66th annual commemoration – is a dazzling showcase of sartorial elegance, where celebrities make bold fashion statements and offer a visual feast complete with glamorous gowns, fashion-forward silhouettes and unexpectedly avant-garde looks that are often talked about for years to come.
Attendees on this year’s red carpet, which is often one of the most exciting and daring of the year, wore incredibly gorgeous bespoke ensembles from Gucci and Courrèges to Versace and Celine. Personal style was the focus of attention when well-known artists like Janelle Monáe, Jon Batiste, SZA, Billie Eilish, Miley Cyrus, and Taylor Swift were there. A variety of surprising outfits from musicians, producers, and everyone in between were on display on the Grammys 2024 red carpet, ranging from stunning, sparkling embellishments to looks inspired by the past to the elegance of getting the ideal fit. The red carpet always has a unique mix of attendees from various music business segments and showcases fashion in its purest form.
Boygenius, Laufey, and Paramore won during the Grammys Premiere Ceremony, which occurred at the Peacock Theatre before the main event. “Barbie” won two Grammys: one for best visual media compilation soundtrack and another for best song composed for visual media. The latter was accepted by artists Finneas O’Connell and Billie Eilish for their work on “What Was I Made For?” The Grammy for best scoring music for visual media was also won by composer Ludwig Göransson for “Oppenheimer.”
Following closely behind SZA’s nominations, three artists garnered seven nominations each: Victoria Monét, Phoebe Bridgers (six of those nominations for her work with Boygenius and one for a collaboration with SZA), and mixing engineer Serban Ghenea. Swift, Rodrigo, Eilish, Cyrus, Batiste, Boygenius, Brandy Clark, and producer Jack Antonoff each received six nominations.
Now, let’s take a closer look at some of the notable fashion choices from the night:
