Last year, the dress code was based on the theme “In America: An Anthology of Fashion,”. Gilded Glamour, timeless elegance, and style were keywords that characterised the topic. However, this year’s theme was “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,” as an ode and tribute to the iconic artist, fashion designer, and creative director Karl Lagerfeld, who passed away in 2019.
