Britney Spears Marries Sam Asghari in Intimate Ceremony at Her Home

The couple tied the knot on Thursday, June 9, at Spears’ residence in Thousand Oaks.

Pop singer Britney Spears married her boyfriend Sam Asghari on Thursday, June 9, after almost six years of a relationship.

“WE DID IT, WE WED!!! It was the most spectacular day!” Spears said, while admitting she was nervous the morning before the ceremony.

Sam and Britney met on the set of the singer’s music video, “Slumber Party” in 2016. Then, they announced their engagement in September 2021.

But, first of all, who is Sam Asghari? The, now husband of the singer, Sam Asghari, is a 28-year-old model, actor and personal trainer. He started modelling because his sister helped him get into the industry.

He then landed his first gig in a 2016 Toyota Prius commercial. This led to appearances in music videos, followed by his current role as Armeen in the BET+ TV series “The Family Business.”

In 2021, the couple was about to have a baby together, but days earlier, they shared the sad news that they went through a miscarriage.

“It is with deep sadness that we have to announce that we lost our baby at a very premature stage of pregnancy. This is devastating for any parent….. We probably should have waited longer before announcing it, until we were more sure of the pregnancy, but we were very excited and wanted to share the good news,” the couple specified in a joint statement on Instagram.

For their wedding, the couple wanted “it to be a small, beautiful moment with family and friends,” Britney said.

The ceremony took place with the glitter of stars such as Madonna, Paris Hilton and Drew Barrymore, among other guests. The absentees on the happiest day of Britney’s life were the artist’s father Jamie Spears, her mother Lynne and her sister Jamie Lynn. Her two teenage sons were also not present at the celebration.

The couple planned their wedding with Jeffrey Best of Best Events, one of the most recognized wedding planners among American celebrities. “We wanted warm, feminine colours, such as melon, white, cream and gold, and lots of shades of pinks, oranges and reds,” Britney revealed.

Outside the couple’s home, there was a white horse with gold hooves pulling a carriage worthy of the Princess of Pop.

The ten-minute ceremony took place under a tent covered in pink velvet.

Britney Spears looked sweet and elegant wearing an elegant, off-the-shoulder Versace custom gown, which featured a slit on one side that revealed her legs. The pop princess also wore a stunning satin veil and white choker.

Her dress

design featured a plunging neckline and drop-shoulder sleeves. The fitted bodice was pleated at the front, while the skirt split into a deep V-shaped leg slit. The fashion house’s tailors took more than 700 hours to make the dress.

Sam complemented Britney’s look with a tuxedo also from Versace. His elegant Versace jacket featured satin detailing. He also wore a white shirt, black loafers and black silk bow tie.

For makeup, Charlotte and Sofia Tilbury were in charge of creating the bride’s natural beauty look. “I am so excited and honoured to have been asked to design Britney’s bridal beauty look!” said Charlotte. “Britney is an icon of our time who has inspired and empowered us all with her joy and positive energy. She is a natural beauty and has the most mesmerizing brown eyes.”

The big surprise was the number of celebrities who attended the celebration, for instance, Madonna, Drew Barrymore, Paris Hilton, Selena Gomez, will.i.am and Donatella Versace, among many others.

After the brief ceremony, it was time for the big party. Britney wore three other looks: a black mini-dress, a two-tone ensemble, and finally a red mini-dress, all by Versace.

Selena Gomez, Madonna, and the bride enjoyed the party dancing to Britney’s hit song Toxic, followed by Paris and Britney, who later sang Stars Are Blind.
