Hathaway sported the fashion-forward ensemble on Thursday while attending the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival.

Between sitting front row at Fashion Week (and recreating a The Devil Wears Prada moment) and attending endless film festivals to promote upcoming projects, Anne Hathaway is booked and busy. And with nonstop appearances comes a stacked lineup of very good looks — something the actress has taken in stride with the help of her stylist, Erin Walsh.
Hathaway sported the fashion-forward ensemble on Thursday while attending the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival. At the She Came to Me photocall, the actress stepped out in a full Alaïa SS23 outfit that screamed goth-glam: a moody, hooded suede black dress that fell just above her ankles and featured a plunging neckline and a thigh-high slit. She elevated the gown by layering it under a draped leather skirt with an exposed zipper that gathered at her waist.
A pair of three-strap black sandals with a gold sculptural heel, sheer tights, and a handful of silver rings by Bulgari finished off Hathaway’s look. The star complemented her hooded dress with simple glam — a rosy pink lip and soft beach waves that framed her face.
While promoting her latest movie, She Came To Me, at the 73rd Berlinale, the actress and producer addressed the global picture at large and praised the festival for featuring Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelensky. “I want to express my gratitude to the film festival for including a hero of our times and for giving us all the opportunity to amplify the message of Ukraine, which is the almost universal desire for peace,” the actress said.

After arriving at the Berlin Film Festival in a moody black hooded gown earlier today, Hathaway slipped into another ensemble that was a gothcore take on Audrey Hepburn’s classic outfit formula.
The actress, who is currently promoting her upcoming movie She Came to Me, wore a see-through mesh Valentino column gown with a large fishnet-style overlay layered over a beige bodysuit. She accessorized with leather opera gloves, and further channeled the Old Hollywood icon with her updo, which resembled Hepburn’s signature hairstyle. She finished the outfit with drop earrings, a diamond ring over the gloves, and black pointy-toe heels.
Instead Hathaway wore her hair in an Audrey Hepburn–esque updo with her face-framing bottleneck bangs kept loose and a particularly glowy makeup look.
“I think sometimes we think of these things as isolated from each other,” she explained. “But right now I think the way we’re all participating in films and the way we all kind of are unsure as to what the future of audience culture is, I think it’s important to love all types of films and show up in person at the movie theater for all the types of films that we can if this art form is to continue.”
