Our favourite looks from the biggest night for British film.

Last Sunday night, cinema experts, movie stars, supermodels, and celebrities flocked towards the Royal Festival Hall to attend the British Academy Film Awards (otherwise known as the BAFTAs). The event was attended by the world’s most recognized celebrities, including Prince William and Princess Kate, who looked stunning on the red carpet. For the big night, Kate Middleton wore a white one-shoulder Alexander McQueen dress. More importantly, she chose to accessorize it with long black gloves and gold jewellery, including Zara earrings. Meanwhile, Willian wore a sleek black suit paired with a matching bow tie and shoes.
While the red carpet was highly dominated by tulles and feathers, the red carpet also saw celebrities wearing ensembles featuring lace, all-black looks, sheer gowns, and glitzy embellished get-ups. Florence Pugh, Ana de Armas, Anya Taylor-Joy, Rosie Huntington- Whiteley, and Austin Butler were among the best-dressed stars of the night, with the likes of Cate Blanchett, Julianne Moore, and Viola Davis also walking the red carpet this year.
Apart from the incredible fashion and beauty trends spotted on the red carpet, the ceremony awarded the biggest film and tv productions. All Quiet on the Western Front cleaned up with seven trophies, while 2023 BAFTA Awards acting winners included Tár’s Cate Blanchett, Elvis’ Austin Butler, The Banshees Of Inisherin’s Barry Keoghan and Kerry Condon, and rising star awardee Emma Mackey (Sex Education).
