The Zendaya red-carpet drought is officially over.

When it comes to shutting down the red carpet, Zendaya is a seasoned pro. Whether she’s wearing a hot-pink Valentino two-piece suit or a slinky backless Saint Laurent gown, the Hollywood star knows how to make a statement. After several months out of the spotlight, the Euphoria actress made her awaited return to the public eye at the NAACP Image Awards, taking place at LA’s Pasadena Civic Auditorium. For this special occasion Zendaya offered not one but two sizzling outfits in a single evening—both rare archival looks that any devoted fashion enthusiast would recognize from a mile away.
To attend the 2023 NAACP Image Awards in Los Angeles, the 26-year-old Euphoria actor wore a silk black and green vintage Versace haute couture dress from its spring 2002 collection. The dangerously high thigh-slit on the dress revealed a pair of black patent pumps underneath, while Zendaya then accessorized with crystal-encrusted jewelry pieces on her wrist and fingers. The green motif also continues in two stripes running down the skirt, as well as flared adornments at the hips. For her accessories, the star skipped the necklace and added an array of Bulgari diamond jewelry. Zendaya styled her dark brown hair in a curled style that fell just above her shoulders, finishing her glam look with a matte nude lip.

Later that evening, the actor wowed in another memorable look—this time, from Prada’s spring 1993 collection—which comprised a white satin cut-out crop top, a matching maxi skirt with cut-out details across the midriff, and a white pair of leather heels.
Zendaya was nominated for two awards at tonight’s ceremony: Entertainer of the Year, and Best Actress in a Drama for her Euphoria role. Tonight marks the Malcolm & Marie star’s first appearance of the 2023 awards season, as she skipped the Golden Globes last month. Though she wasn’t on hand to receive her award for Best Television Actress in a Drama Series, the star posted a touching message of thanks the next morning via Instagram.
“Thank you to my Euphoria family, without you, none of this is possible,” she wrote of her first win and nomination at the acclaimed awards ceremony. “Lastly, thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has allowed Rue into theirs. I think everyone knows how much she means to me, but the fact that she can mean something to someone else is a gift. I’m honestly at a loss for words as I type this, all I can say is thank you thank you thank you.”
