Jennifer Lawrence is on a big summer fashion tour!

After a masterclass in old-Hollywood glamour during the 2023 Cannes Film Festival—a lesson she taught wearing leather flip flops, for the promotions of her new movie, No Hard Feelings, Jennifer Lawrence wowed fans with eccentric and eclectic fashion choices.

No Hard Feelings has her character trying to manipulate a 19-year-old into a romantic awakening, but make no mistake: JLaw is a grown-up, and her red carpet costumes this year show her sartorial development.

Without further delay let’s take a look at her gorgeous fashion choices.

Her latest look is a sheer black Christian Dior gown, which she wore for the U.K. premiere of No Hard Feelings on June 12.

For the June 12 event, Jennifer wowed in a little black dress from Dior that was anything but basic, as it featured a risqué bodice that was completely see-through with a black bandeau bra underneath.

The floor-length gown, which was originally created in a midi-length style for the fall/winter 2023 ready-to-wear collection, also included beaded floral appliqués and black lining for the skirt’s mermaid silhouette.

As for the finishing touches? The Don’t Look Up star accessorised the head-turning piece with a thin belt to cinch her waist, Manolo Blahnik pumps and black leather opera-length gloves. She also opted for a bold beauty look, rocking a dramatic smoky eye with dagger-sharp liner and glossy berry-coloured lips. She topped off her glam with a slicked-back high ponytail. The Maria Grazia Chuiri-designed dress, unveiled during Dior’s Fall/Winter 2023 collection, offers a maturely vampish take on the sensual dressing mode that swept the runways and red carpets in 2022.

Her second look came during the Madrid premiere of No Hard Feelings. Instead of the over-embellished, allover-sheer naked dresses that her Hollywood sisters pick for their big red carpet moments, Lawrence chose an avante-garde pick from Jonathan Anderson’s Fall-Winter 2023 Loewe collection for the red carpet event.

The beige velvet gown looked to be floating on her body thanks to its unique construction, which included a corset that showed when she flashed her back and kept the dress away from her body. The sweetheart neckline looked like it was levitating away from her torso. Obviously, when a dress is this conceptual, she doesn’t need to add much in the way of accessories. Instead, she kept things relatively simple with emerald earrings, black open-toed shoes, an anklet, and soft, natural lipstick for her beauty look.

Her third look came while she was papped on the streets of the UK. Lawrence stepped out in the ultimate discreetly expensive ensemble, in a grey two-piece by The Row. Quiet Luxury is the vibe that she was going for and she made the cut. Considered a mood more than a trend, ‘quiet luxury’ encompasses inconspicuous style with a focus on quality over flashy logos and more obvious signifiers of wealth, and a preference for classic, timeless pieces over anything that would quickly date.

Her outfit – made from a breezy light-grey wool, consisting of the open-back ‘Bamby’ top, paired with matching low-rise wide-leg trousers – oozed style and sophistication in a very understated manner. She finished off her timeless look with a leather clutch bag – also from The Row – sleek sunglasses, strappy heels and a statement Tiffany & Co pendant necklace. The overall effect was one of easy effortlessness; elegant and fuss-free.
